Piper had gone to the clinic as she promised Veronica she would. Of course, Veronica had gone with her, so she couldn't exactly get out of it.


The NPC doctor on duty had given her a complete check up since she had nothing better to do. The clinic wasn't exactly busy lately. Everything seemed fine until the ultrasound. The doctor noticed something didn't seem normal and, considering the symptoms Piper had been experiencing, told her she might be suffering from endometreosis. There wasn't anything more Piper could find out from one visit to the clinic, so the doctor gave her some medication for the pain and suggested she consult a specialist about it.

She wasn't exactly sure what to make of that news, and she was very glad her best friend had been there for her.

Now that she was home, she was already on her laptop and researching. She didn't like some of the things she was reading about like potential surgery depending on severity. Reading about potential infertility didn't exactly make her feel better either. She wasn't panicking, but she was at least going to make another doctor's appointment.

So much for the stress and ulcer theory she had formulated earlier. She still didn't have a definitive answer, but this was not exactly what she expected from a bit of discomfort and exhaustion.
